ser de diferentes tipos.<\/p><p>Cada crisis tiene una duraci\u00f3n breve generalmente de, uno a dos minutos.<\/p><p>Una crisis puede manifestarse desde un cambio simple en el comportamiento, tener alteraciones en el habla o la memoria, hasta perder el conocimiento y presentar movimientos anormales.<\/p><p><strong>EPIDEMIOLOG\u00cdA<\/strong><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #2a2a2a;\">\u200bDel 30 % al 40 % de los casos tiene una causa como: enfermedades infecciosas o parasitarias, cisticercosis cerebral, da\u00f1o cerebral perinatal o traumatismo de\u00a0cr\u00e1neo.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #2a2a2a;\">En el 60% al 70% de los casos se desconoce el origen y se le llama epil\u00e9ptica?<\/strong><\/p><ul><li>Mantener la calma.<\/li><li>Protegerlo de cualquier lesi\u00f3n:<\/li><li>Retirar cualquier objeto duro o cortante<\/li><li>Alejarlo de cualquier peligro ( escaleras, agua , etc)<\/li><li>Colocar algo plano y blando bajo su cabeza ( una chamarra doblada).<\/li><li>Girarlo suavemente hacia un lado para que tenga las v\u00edas respiratorias libres.<\/li><li>Desabrochar las prendas de ropa en la parte del cuello<\/li><\/ul><p><strong>Que no hacer:<\/strong><\/p><ul><li>No tratar de detener los movimientos convulsivos.<\/li><li>No sujetar con fuerza, ni tratar de inmovilizarlo, a menos que corra peligro inmediato.<\/li><li>No intentar administrarle ning\u00fan medicamento o bebida hasta que est\u00e9 despierto y consiente.<\/li><li>No abrir la boca ni introducir nada en ella ( es un mito que las personas puedan tragarse la lengua cuando sufren una crisis epil\u00e9ptica.<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section
